How resistive touch screen works

How Does Touch Screen Work?

The part of the screen body is made of a composite film that matches the surface of the display, the base layer is plexiglass or a layer of glass, the outer part has a conductive layer, and there is a hardened rough surface layer on top. When the user's hand touches the screen, there will be a contact at the touch point, which are two conductive layers that are usually insulated from each other. One of the conductive layers is connected to the voltage scene in the y-axis direction. At this time, the voltage of the detection layer changes from zero to non-zero. During this switch-on process, the controller has detected and then switched between them. This can also be said to be the same basic principle of all resistive touch screens.

How capacitive touch screen works

How Does Touch Screen Work?

Usually, there is a sense of electric current in the human body, and it is only by using this point that we can work. It is composed of two double-layer composite glass screens, which are coated with a layer of ITO in the glass layer and in the middle of its interlayer. The outer layer is a protective layer of glass, and the ITO layer in the middle of the interlayer is used as a working surface. When the user's finger touches the metal layer, in the presence of the electric field of the human body, the user and the surface of the touch screen will combine into a capacitor, which is a direct conductor. The capacitive controller can accurately calculate where the touch point is through the ratio of the current.

How infrared touch screen works

How Does Touch Screen Work?

The principle of the infrared touch screen is to use the infrared matrix in two different directions of y and x to accurately locate and monitor the touch position of the user. The outer frame of the circuit board is installed at the front end of the display, and then the circuit board cannot separate the infrared receiving tank and the transmitting tube around the screen. When the finger touches the screen, the two infrared rays intersecting at the position of the core will be directly blocked by the finger, so any position of the touch point on the screen can be accurately determined.
